College of Environmental & Energy Engineering

 

The College of Environmental and Energy Engineering (CEEE) focuses its research in fields of environmental science and engineering, power engineering and engineering thermophysics, chemistry and chemical engineering, and many other fields. The college is composed of seven departments: Institute of Environmental Energy Technology, Institute of Environmental Engineering, Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Department of Environmental Science, Department of Automotive Engineering, Department of Refrigeration & Cryogenics Engineering and Chemical Experiment Teaching Center of Beijing Education Commission.

Currently, CEEE has 124 teaching staff including 32 professors, 35associate professors and senior engineers. The college covers an area of 13,000 m2 and is equipped with many advanced facilities. Professor Cheng Shuiyuan is the dean of college.

CEEE has a Key Laboratory of Enhanced Heat Transfer and Energy Conservation of Ministry of Education (also the Key Laboratory of Heat Transfer and Energy Conversion of Beijing Education Commission), a Key Laboratory of Beijing on Regional Air Pollution Control, a Key Laboratory of Water Quality Science and Water Environment Recovery Engineering of Beijing Education Commission, an Engineering Research Center of Beijing for nitrogen and phosphorus removal with process control in wastewater, an International Science and Technology Cooperation of Beijing for biological wastewater treatment and process control and a Beijing Lab of New Energy Vehicle.
