Personal Statement:

Dr. Chen got his Master's degree from Beijing University of Technology in 1997 and his Doctoral degree in Engineering from Beijing University of Technology in 2003. Since 1997, he has worked in Beijing University of technology as a faculty member.

He has undertaken and completed more than 40 scientific research projects, including key projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, National Natural Science Foundation project, National 863 Program project, and Beijing Municipal Education Commission project, and published more than 80 papers.

He won the Third Prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award, Excellent Master Thesis Instructor Award of Beijing, and the 13th Beijing Excellent Young Engineer Award.
