Personal Statement

Ke Gu received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electronic Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2009 and 2015, respectively. He was the Leading Special Session Organizer in VCIP 2016 and ICIP 2017, and served as Guest Editor for the Digital Signal Processing (DSP). He is currently an Associate Editor for the IEEE ACCESS and IET Image Processing (IET-IPR) and an Regional Editor for the Signal Processing Image Communication (SPIC). He received the Best Paper Award from the IEEE Transactions on Multimedia (T-MM), the Best Student Paper Award at the IEEE International Conference on Multimedia and Expo (ICME) in 2016, and the Excellent Ph.D. Thesis Award from the Chinese Institute of Electronics in 2016. He is reviewer for top 20 SCI journals. He has published more than 70 SCI paperson international major journals. Citation has exceeded 3700 times in Google Scholar and 2000 times in SCI.
