Personal Statement:

Liu Hongtao, associate professor and master student supervisor, is the executive member of the National Committee for Public Speaking and Debate in Foreign Languages. From 2011 to2012 She was a visiting scholar at theDepartment of Communication in the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA, and from 2007 to 2008 she was a visiting scholar at Beijing Foreign Studies University. She is responsible for teaching English Academic Writing and Debating courses to both postgraduate and undergraduate students. She has been engaged in teaching for 25 years and has presidedovermany research projects bothat provincial level and university level. She has published more than sixty papers and some research books.
