Hu Zhichao, graduated from Peking University with a bachelor's degree in urban planning and a double degree in economics; a doctor's degree in human geography from the University of Chinese Academy of Science. He focuses on urbanization and urban-rural development transformation, rural development policy transformation and urban-rural pattern evolution research. Hosted and participated in more than 10 projects of the Humanities and Social Science Foundation of Beijing University of Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation Project, and national and provincial and ministerial-level projects. Published more than 20 papers in SCI, EI and core journals.
