Personal Statement

Hongxia Guo completed her Ph.D. on Materials Physics and Chemistry in 2003 from Science Institute of Northwest Polytechnical University. After that she took the postdoctoral work with Prof. Cui-xian Chen at Chemistry Engineering and Technology Postdoctor Work Station of Tsinghua University. Since 2005 she joined the College of Materials Science and Engineering in Beijing University of Technology. Her current research focuses on biomimetic synthesis of new inorganic-organic nanocomposite membranes, manipulation and adjusting 2D membrane properties, solid polymer polyelectrolyte and high performance lithium ion battery separator. She has published over 70 papers and applied more than 40 Chinese invent patents.
