The lists of papers accepted for inclusion in the 42nd International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML 2025) and the 34th International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI 2025) were recently announced. Lin Yuena, a Ph.D. student, and Zhong Qiyu, a Master's student, both supervised by Professors Lv Gengyu and Yang Zhen from the College of Computer Science at Beijing University of Technology, have published papers as first authors at ICML 2025. Li Zhuo, a master's student, has also published a paper as first author at IJCAI 2025.

The ICML and IJCAI are both top-tier conferences designated as Class A by the China Computer Federation (CCF). ICML, in particular, is regarded as one of the top three conferences in machine learning. This marks the first time that students from the College of Computer Science have published a first-author paper at ICML.
