Zou Yun, a 2006 undergraduate in English Language and Literature and an alumna of Beijing University of Technology, was awarded the China Youth May Fourth Medal.

The China Youth May Fourth Medal is the highest honor awarded to outstanding young individuals in China by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China and the All-China Youth Federation. This recognizes exemplary young people who are politically progressive, morally upright, and who have made significant contributions to society, reflecting the spirit and values to be pursued by today's youth.
