BJUT Holds Commencement Ceremony 2025

On June 17, BJUT held its 2025 Commencement Ceremony. The University honored recipients of the "Role Models in Moral Education – My Favorite Teachers" Award and conferred degrees on outstanding graduates, retired graduate students, and graduates dedicated to serving in western China. Each faculty of the University also held its own degree conferral ceremony. The ceremony was attended by all the graduates, along with parents, faculty staff, and alumni representatives.

He Ming, Secretary of the CPC BJUT Committee, presented graduation gifts to student representatives. Nie Zuoren, BJUT President and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered a speech. Also in attendance were Shen Changxiang and Peng Yongzhen, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Tang Jie, academician of the Engineering Academy of Japan; Zhao Yangang, foreign academician of the Engineering Academy of Japan; other University leaders; members of the Student Affairs Guidance Committee; and deans and leaders from other colleges .

Vice President Liu Zhaomiao read out the list of 2025 graduates receiving degrees, as well as the list of outstanding graduates and award-winning theses.



Yao Chengxi, a newly qualified graduate from the College of Mechanical and Energy Engineering, spoke on behalf of the graduates.


Alumnus Tong Jie, Class of 1999, co-founder and vice president of Jiangsu Morlus Technology Co., Ltd., and general manager of Beijing Morlus Technology Co., Ltd., shared his post-graduation journey, highlighting his commitment to the new energy vehicle industry.
