On July 10, Adrián Gutiérrez Árboles, Counselor for Science and Technology Development at the Embassy of Spain in China, led a four-member delegation to BJUT, which included Professor Francisco Javier Saiz Rodríguez from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV). Qiao Junfei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC BJUT Committee, met with the delegation. Representatives from BJUT's International Office and the College of Chemistry and Life Science also attended the meeting.

Qiao Junfei warmly welcomed the delegation and outlined BJUT's academic strengths and recent achievements. He acknowledged the Spanish Embassy's crucial support in facilitating successful collaboration between BJUT and UPV, particularly in joint research, academic exchanges, and talent development. He hoped that the embassy would continue to support and promote deeper collaboration between BJUT and Spanish universities, including UPV.

Gutiérrez thanked BJUT for its hospitality and expressed his commitment to fostering partnerships between more Spanish universities and BJUT.

During the visit, the delegation also toured the College of Chemistry and Life Science and its research facilities, for further exchange and discussion.
