On November 7, the results of the 2024 Beijing Science and Technology Awards were officially announced, with BJUT receiving a total of 12 awards. Among these, the University won one Natural Science Award (Second Prize as the leading institution), two Technological Invention Awards (both Second Prizes as the leading institution), and seven Science and Technology Progress Awards (including three Second Prizes as the leading institution, one First Prize as a participating institution, and three Second Prizes as a participating institution). In addition, two individual awards were granted to BJUT nominees. Professor Han Honggui was honored with the Zhongguancun Award for Outstanding Youth, marking the first time a BJUT faculty member has earned this honor. Research Fellow Erika Hodúlová, nominated by BJUT, was awarded the Zhongguancun International Cooperation Award.
