On December 26, the "2025 Beijing International Youth Innovation and Development Forum: Parallel Forum on Future Industries and Technological Innovation, including the 9th Beijing University of Technology International Young Scholars 'Rixin Forum'" was hosted by BJUT. The forum, themed "Gathering Global Talents, Co-creating Future Industries," provided an important platform for young scholars from all over the world to exchange ideas, engage in academic communication, and gain deep understanding of both Beijing and BJUT.

On behalf of the University, He Ming, Secretary of the CPC BJUT Committee, warmly welcomed young scholars from home and abroad. He stated that since its founding in 1960, BJUT has consistently grasped the opportunities presented by the times, and that the framework for constructing a world-class university has been achieved. This year, the University started construction of the new Fangshan Campus, which will fundamentally expand BJUT's future educational space and enhance its educational capacity. He emphasized that talent is the cornerstone of building a first-class university. In recent years, a substantial number of outstanding young scholars have joined BJUT through platforms such as the "Rixin Forum." They have worked hard, made rapid progress, and played significant roles in their respective positions. The University will continue to leverage the capital's resource advantages, strengthen the development of high-level talent teams, optimize policies and mechanisms for talent introduction and cultivation, focus on disciplines with future industries in mind, and provide comprehensive platform support, matching resources, and a secure living environment for young talents to realize their aspirations and do their part.

Hu Yixiong, Director of the Beijing Overseas Talents Center, emphasized the significant role BJUT has played in supporting the capital's talent initiatives and scientific and technological innovation. He noted that, having been held four times to date, the Beijing International Youth Innovation and Development Forum has become an important medium for linking global intellectual resources and supporting Beijing's development. It is hoped that young scholars will make full use of the platform to exchange ideas, deepen cooperation, and build the forum into a feast of ideas, a bridge for communication, and a wellspring of innovation.

The forum attracted thousands of young scholars from world-leading universities and research institutions, who participated both online and offline.
