Delegation from Belarusian State University Visits BJUT

On April 9, a delegation led by Andrei Karol, Rector of Belarusian State University, visited BJUT. He Ming, Secretary of the CPC BJUT Committee, met with the delegation. Qiao Junfei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC BJUT Committee, and representatives from the International Office were also present at the meeting.

He Ming extended a warm welcome to Rector Karol and his delegation, and introduced the University's history, disciplinary characteristics, research, and international collaborations. Looking ahead, he expressed the hope that both sides would fully leverage their respective strengths to carry out practical cooperation in areas such as new materials, smart cities, and clean energy. He also proposed establishing joint laboratories and advancing talent development programs, so that the outcomes of cooperation can truly benefit the faculties and students of both institutions, and continuously inject new vitality into China-Belarus friendship.

Rector Karol expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and introduced the basic profile and achievements of Belarusian State University. He noted that the two universities enjoy broad prospects for cooperation, and expressed willingness to further expand the scope of collaboration and jointly promote their strategic partnership to a higher level and across broader fields.
