On April 29, the Beijing Municipal Government announced the recipients of the "Jingshi Award." Professor Du Xiuli of Beijing University of Technology, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, was honored with the "People's Teacher Award." 17 teaching achievements from the University were recognized in the 2025 Beijing Higher Education Teaching Achievement Awards, including one special prize, five first prizes, and 11 second prizes.

The Teaching Achievement Award serves as a key indicator of the University's teaching standards and educational quality. It encapsulates the outcomes of the University's efforts to advance educational reform, innovate talent cultivation pathways, and enhance the quality of talent development, while also acting as a crucial driver for the BJUT's intensive development.

To date, the University has been honored with a total of 136 Beijing Higher Education Teaching Achievement Awards, comprising three special prizes, 54 first-class prizes, and 79 second-class prizes.
