On August 25, Academician Jian LU, Member of the National Academy of Technologies of France, Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences, and Chair Professor at City University of Hong Kong, visited Beijing University of Technology.

Academician Jian Lu and his delegation visited our university to deliver academic lectures and conduct on-site investigation. He Ming, Secretary of the Party Committee of BJUT, met with the visiting guests. He Ming expressed his hope that this exchange would serve as an opportunity to deepen practical cooperation between the two universities, and that he looked forward to expanding exchanges and cooperation in multiple areas, including talent program applications, co-hosting academic conferences, two-way faculty exchange visits, and the attraction and cultivation of outstanding talents.

Academician Jian Lu visited the State Key Laboratory of Materials Recycling and Low-Carbon Regeneration and the Institute of Intelligent Machinery, and delivered an academic lecture to BJUT faculty and students on the frontiers of materials and additive manufacturing research, introducing innovative technologies and application prospects linked to new materials R&D and green hydrogen energy.
