Personal Statement

Aijun Yan received his Ph. D. degree from Northeastern University in 2006 majoring in Control Science and Engineering. Now he is a professor in the Faculty of Information Technology, Beijing University of Technology. He teaches Process Control Systems and Case-Based Reasoning for undergraduate and for graduate students, respectively. His research interest includes artificial intelligence and industrial process control. He presided over 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 2 projects of the Beijing Natural Science Foundation, and completed 3 projects commissioned by enterprises. He has published more than 60 papers in academic journals and international conferences, and obtained 5 authorized invention patents.
