Personal statement

Zou Liling, born in Jilin in 1982, now is the dean of the Department of Foreign Language and Literature of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at BJUT. In recent years, she has published more than 20 papers in journals such asChinese Higher Education Research,Foreign Language Academia, andCurriculum Education Research, including 4 papers on CSSCI. She published a monograph - "Research on Chinese Unmarked Passive Sentences from the Perspective of English-to-Chinese Translation" (Nankai University Press), and participated in the compilation of an English vocabulary textbook - "New Advanced TOEFL Classification Vocabulary"(Tsinghua University Press). She has presided over one project of the Beijing Education Committee Support Program and more than six school-level scientific research projects. As a main participant, she participated in the completion of one key project of the National Social Science Fund, one youth project of the Humanities and Social Science Fund of the Ministry of Education. She has instructed many students to get rewards in the English Debate Contest, Cross-Cultural Ability Contest and earned a reputation as "Excellent Instructor" and "Excellent Judge".
