Personal Statement

Dr. Guangsheng Guo is a professor at Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in Faculty of Environment and Life Science in Beijing University of Technology. He was awarded the 2014 Special Government Allowances of the State Council of China.He has presided over or participated in dozens of research projects, such as NationalHigh-tech R&D Program of China, National Major Scientific Instruments and Equipments Development Project of National Natural Science Foundation of China and Key Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 150 peer-reviewed papers and 3 monographs, and authorized more than 20 Chinese patents, 1 American invention patent and 1 European patent. He was awarded 2 provincial and ministerial level second prizes for scientific and technological progress. He has won 4 national teaching achievement awards, including 1 first prize and 1 second prize as the first accomplisher, 8 first prizes and 2 second prizes in Beijing Education and Teaching Achievement Awards (higher education).
