Personal Statement

Xie Qiwei is a professor at the School of Economics and Management of Beijing University of Technology. He is also a member of Youth Works Committee of the Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning and Economical Mathematics. His main research Areas are data mining, financial time series analysis, optimization, statistical analysis. He has presided over a number of research funds including one sub project of National Science and Technology Major Project, two National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and one Natural Science Foundation of Beijing projects. He has published more than thirty academic papers on major journals.
