Personal Statement

Yao Ying holds a Ph.D. in Economics from University of Hawaii at Manoa. Her dissertation investigated the impact of trade policies on environment. Before joining BJUT, she worked as an Economist at state government of Hawaii.

Her research interest broadly lies in international economics and environmental economics. Her current research mainly focuses on trade impacts on environment, and environmental impacts on investment. Ying teaches the core course of International Trade for undergraduates and electives in the Trade and Environment for international undergraduate program.
