Personal Statement
Zhao Xuefeng, a Ph.D., Associate Professor, and Ph.D. Supervisor at Beijing University of Technology. I serve as a Council Member of the China Civil Engineering Society and Deputy Secretary-General of its Engineering Digitization Branch. Additionally, I am the Deputy Secretary-General of the New Infrastructure Professional Committee of the China Association of Engineering Consultants, a member of the Academic Committee of the Key Laboratory of Green Construction Technology and Equipment (CNNC), and a member of the Intelligent Construction Professional Committee of the Architectural Society of China (ASC). My other professional roles include serving as a Council Member of the ASC Building Construction Branch, Secretary-General of the ASC Construction BIM Professional Committee, and a member of the BIM Professional Committee and Civil Engineering Graphics Branch of the China Graphics Society. I also serve as a member of the Standard Digitization Working Committee of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association and sit on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Intelligent Construction.
I hold several national professional qualifications, including National Registered First-Class Constructor, Registered Cost Engineer, Registered Consulting (Investment) Engineer, and Registered Supervision Engineer. My research and professional contributions have earned me numerous accolades, such as the First Prize of the China Installation Association Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of the Shaanxi Province Construction Engineering Science and Technology Award, and the Second Prize Achievement Award in the Engineering Construction Enterprise Technology Innovation Competition. Furthermore, I have received the First Prize in the 14th "Dragon Cup" National BIM Competition, the Second Prize of the Beijing Science and Technology Award, the Second Prize of the Huaxia Science and Technology Award from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the Third Prize of the ASC Science and Technology Progress Award.
I also participate in the formulation of national BIM technology and promotion standards and policies. We have provided BIM consulting services for major projects such as Beijing Daxing International Airport, China Zun, Xiong'an New Area, Tongzhou Cultural and Tourism Zone, Beijing Metro Line 10, Qianzhang Changzhou Railway, Quning Railway, Taijiao Railway, and Yawan Railway.
