Cultivation Characteristics
This major is rooted in Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics, a key discipline of Beijing Municipality, and integrates the strengths of the first-level discipline of Electronic Science and Technology. It is supported by the Master's program in Integrated Circuit Engineering, Master's and Doctoral programs, and a postdoctoral research station in Electronic Science and Technology, as well as the Beijing Key Laboratory of Embedded Systems, and the National Integrated Circuit Talent Training Base. The major has built a comprehensive knowledge chain from chip design to system integration, along with platforms such as an intelligent chip verification platform and a green energy management experimental system. This major is committed to cultivating interdisciplinary, cross-functional talent at the intersection of integrated circuit and system design, and intelligent information processing. It adopts a three-dimensional talent development model combining a "curriculum chain, practice chain, and innovation chain," and has gained distinct advantages in fields such as intelligent terminal chips, industrial IoT, and new energy management, continuously contributing to Beijing's goal of becoming a globally influential center for scientific and technological innovation.

This major is supported by a doctoral program and postdoctoral research station in the first-level discipline of Electronic Science and Technology, along with bases and key labs such as the National Integrated Circuit Talent Training Base,the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Optoelectronics Technology, and the Beijing Key Laboratory of Embedded Systems.
