On the morning of February 4th, Xie Hui, Secretary of CPC BJUT Committee, and Liu Gonghui, Deputy Secretary of CPC BJUT Committee and President, led a team to visit the faculty and staff who were sticking to the front line of BJUT’s epidemic prevention and control, saluting and thanking them for their contributions to safeguarding the health and safety of the faculty and students of the University. Shen Qianfan, Deputy Secretary of CPC BJUT Committee, Liu Jianping and Guo Fu, Vice Presidents, accompanied the visit.

Secretary Xie Hui and President Liu Gonghui first came to the centralized residential health observation dormitory area set up in Building NO.8 of the student’s apartment to have a detailed understanding of the situation of the residents and the relevant working procedures. They thanked all the staff for responding timely to the school’s work deployment and volunteering to return to the post to take on the important tasks. They also gave special reminders to all the staff, asking them to ensure the health and safety of their own and of the teachers and students living there.

The team then came to the first floor of the Olympic Restaurant, and sent their care and concern to the staff who were sticking to the front line of food and beverage security. They asked all the staff to strictly control all aspects of work from material procurement to processing operation, and effectively guarantee the living needs of all teachers and students staying in the school during the holidays and the work needs during the epidemic prevention and control period.

In the prevention and control of the epidemic, the school hospital undertakes the important responsibility of medical service security. Leadership of BJUT visited the hospital on the spot to find out the staff’s arrival and work situation, and inquired about the difficulties in the work. They hoped that everyone could work together in the same boat to overcome the difficulties and fully guarantee the health of teachers and students.

During the epidemic prevention and control period, BJUT Ping Le Yuan campus only kept the west gate open 24 hours a day, and other school gates were all temporarily closed or opened within a limited time. Leadership of BJUT came to the west gate to visit the security guards on duty and thank them for protecting the first pass of the school. Secretary Xie Hui and President Liu Gonghui told the security department to strictly manage the access of vehicles and personnel, resolutely block the infection way, ensure the safety, harmony and stability of the campus. They also told the relevant departments to care about the staff who stick to their posts, give priority to all protective materials to the staff working on the first line, and do a good job of service guarantee for the front-line staff.
