· 49 Postdoctoral Projects of BJUT Were Approved

Recently, the Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau published the list of postdoctoral fellows approved to be funded by Beijing Municipal Working Funds in 2020. Beijing University of Technology has applied for 71 projects in total, 49 of which have been approved, with a total grant of 4.4 million yuan. Specifically, 2.1 million yuan are allocated to fund 36 scientific research projects; 1 million yuan are allocated to fund 5 international exchange programs (overseas-exchange programs); 1.3 million yuan are allocated to fund 8 projects of international exchange (talent-introduction programs).

Since its establishment in 2010, by providing ample funding to motivate and support postdoctoral researches, Beijing Municipal Postdoctoral Research Foundation has enhanced postdoctoral researchers' confidence in carrying out innovative research in a certain field, and laid a solid foundation for their innovative achievements and growth to be high-level talents. In 2017, in order to further strengthen post-doctoral international exchange and improve the quality of post-doctoral cultivation, Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau launched the post-doctoral international exchange and cultivation programs, including overseas-exchange programs and talent-introduction programs by adhering to the principle of “Sending Out” and “Bringing In”. Rooted in Beijing and serving Beijing, these programs are to strengthen the construction of high-level professional and technical talents with the principles of openness, equality, competition, and merit selection, and to improve the internationalization of postdoctoral cultivation.
