The National Science Library of the Chinese Academy of Sciences has announced the selection of source journals for the 2023-2024 Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD). The Journal of Beijing University of Technology (referred to as "the Journal" hereafter) has once again been included in the core collection of the CSCD.

According to CSCD data, the Journal's impact factor has been consistently increasing in recent years, indicating its growing influence. In 2023-2024, the China Science Citation Database (CSCD) included a total of 1339 source periodicals, including 316 English language periodicals published in China, and 1023 Chinese periodicals.
