Spearheaded by the Beijing University of Technology (BJUT), the Alliance was proposed by the China Education Association for International Exchange, an organization supervised by the Ministry of Education. On October 26th, the inauguration ceremony of the Sino-Irish Alliance of Joint Education and the Forum on Quality Development of Sino-Irish Joint Running of Schools took place.

Taking the establishment of the Alliance as an opportunity, with the focus on the high-quality development of the Beijing-Dublin International College as the anchor point, BJUT actively seeks to broaden new avenues of international cooperation. Its goal is to gather top-tier global resources, ensuring the high standard and quality advancement of international education. Through the consistent provision of an outstanding foreign education environment, BJUT strives to enhance the international influence of Beijing's education sector, propelling the capital city's development as an international exchange center. Collaborating with the Alliance's members, BJUT will further contribute to China's development as an educational powerhouse.
