Ten of BJUT's Disciplines Enter the Top 1% of ESI Global Rankings

According to the latest data from the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) database by Clarivate Analytics, BJUT has again improved its overall ranking in the ESI. It now ranks 748 globally out of a total of 8,901 institutions, up 110 places compared to the same period last year.

The latest data shows that BJUT's Clinical Medicine discipline has entered the top 1% of the ESI Global Rankings for the first time, meaning that in 2023, three of the University’s disciplines are now newly ranked in the top 1% of these ratings, the other two disciplines being Physics (entered May 2023), and Geosciences (entered September 2023). To date, BJUT has 10 disciplines ranked in the top 1% of ESI Global Rankings, namely: Engineering, Materials Sciences, Chemistry, Environment & Ecology, Computer Science, Biology & Biochemistry, General Social Sciences, Physics, Geosciences, and Clinical Medicine. Among them, Engineering has entered the top 1‰ of ESI globally.
