BJUT's sports venues include stadia, gymnasia, basketball courts, track-and-field grounds, volleyball courts, tennis courts, underground training hall, table tennis hall, and a natatorium, taking the priority based on the University's demands of physical education, training, large-scale activities , teacher-and student exercises , and providing service for society.

BJUT's Olympic Stadium was completed in August 2007, covering a total floor area of 24,383 square meters. It contains the competition hall and training hall. The 25.9-meter-high Competition Hall covers an area of 2,730 square meters with a seating capacity of 7,500. The height of the training hall is 15.5 meters, occupying 1,700 square meters. The stadium boasts a large-span new suspend-dome structure and the air-conditioning downside air supply technology, which won the 2008 China Construction Engineering Luban Prize (National Prime-quality Project) and the Eighth Tien-yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prize, respectively. 

The stadium successfully held two "Good Luck Beijing" sport events: the 2007 International Badminton Invitational Tournament and the 2007 Rhythmic Gymnastics International Invitational Tournament. Additionally, it hosted both the Badminton and Rhythmic Gymnastics events of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
