Beijing-Dublin International College at BJUT

Beijing-Dublin International College (herein after referred toBDIC) is a joint college of Beijing University of Technology and University College Dublin (herein after referred toUCD). Since its first intake of students in 2012, BDIC offers four degree programmes: The Internet of Things Engineering, Software Engineering,Financial Economics and Electronic & Information Engineering. The length of the program is 4 years. By now, there were over 1300 students enrolled in BDIC.

BDIC had a total of650graduates.Nearly 80% have been admitted by world-leading universities in the UK, the US, Australia and several other nations and regions,Over 60% of these students have been admitted by the top 100 universities in the QS World University Rankings,such as Duke University, Columbia University, Johns Hopkins University, Imperial College London and other universities. Alumni of BDIC are mostly employed by the renowned transnational companies, state-owned enterprises or government. The quality of BDIC graduates is highly recognized by society.

BDIC has attracted extensive social attention and won various awards from both home and abroad after its establishment. It has been awarded by Sina Education as “One of Ten Annual Joint International Institutions with Brand Influence”, and by Xinhua Net with the “Annual Joint International Institution of Competitive Brand Award”. In 2018, it won “Higher Education Institute Partnership of the Year” at the Asia Matters Business Award. It was also awarded the “2017-2018 Joint International Institution of International Influence Award” by Phoenix Satellite Television.In 2019,it wonthe "Outstanding Innovation Award" by Deans’ association of Chinese-foreign Cooperation.
