Confucius Institute

A delegation led by the Vice Governor of Opole Province of Poland visited BJUT on November 13, 2025. Both sides reviewed the good achievements of friendly cooperation and reached a consensus on further deepening exchanges between faculty and students as well as scientific research collaboration, while emphasizing the platform role of the Confucius Institute.

The Council Meeting of the BJUT-Opole Confucius Institute (CI) was held in November 2025. The Chinese and Polish sides of the CI submitted work reports, financial budget implementation and work plans for the coming year. Both sides reached a consensus on jointly boosting the development of the CI and strengthening multi-field exchanges and cooperation. Council members visited the 3D Printing Center, the Beijing Laboratory of Smart Environmental Protection, and the Intelligent Manufacturing Research and Practical Teaching Center of BJUT and conducted in-depth academic discussions and exchanges on site.

On February 9, 2026, the "Happy Chinese New Year – Charm of Hubei Art Gala" was successfully held at Opole Music Hall, Poland. Jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China and the Chinese Embassy in Poland, hosted by Hubei Provincial Performing Arts Group, and co-sponsored by the BJUT– Opole CI in Poland and Hubei Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, .the event gathered wide attention. Artists from Hubei staged a splendid oriental-style artistic feast featuring music, dance, and opera shows, which further deepened cultural exchanges and people-to-people friendship between China and Poland.
