On January 20^th, BJUT and CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co. Ltd. signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement. Representatives from both sides, including Zheng Hongchang (Party Secretary of CRRC and CRRC Co. Ltd.), Zhao Guangxing (Vice President of CRRC Co. Ltd.), Zhou Qinghe (Chairman and General Manager of CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co. Ltd.), Zheng Jichun (Party Secretary of BJUT), Liu Gonghui (President of BJUT), Jiang Yijian (Vice President of BJUT) and Nie Zuoren (Vice President of BJUT) attended the signing ceremony. Vice President Jiang Yijian hosted the ceremony.

President Liu Gonghui and Chairman Zhou Qinghe signed the Strategic Cooperative Agreement between Beijing University of Technology and CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co. Ltd.

Vice President Nie Zuoren, Vice General Manager Suo Jianguo and Vice General Manager Shan Yong signed the Sub-Agreement on Cooperation in Basic Research Fields and the Sub-Agreement on Cooperation in Manufacturing Technology Fields respectively.

Representatives from Science & Technology Development Department in BJUT signed three Agreements on Joint Development and Technology with CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co. Ltd.

President Liu Gonghui stated that the signing of the agreements marked a new stage of the cooperation between BJUT and CRRC. In the future, BJUT and CRRC would further expand their cooperation in talents cultivation, graduate employment, basic scientific research and the transformation of scientific research results. They will also work together to promote the sharing of resources, consolidate leading advantages in their respective fields, so as to contribute more to the strategy of “Manufactures in China 2025”and the development of transportation equipment manufacturing industry in Beijing and China.

Chairman Zheng Jichun said that he hoped the two organizations would further strengthen their cooperation to establish the long-term cooperative mechanism under the overall strategic framework of mutual cooperation and build up a collaborative and innovative platform. They would deepen their cooperation in the key fields around the equipment manufacturing and make more achievements and major breakthroughs.

Before the signing ceremony, Chairman Zhou Qinghe and his team paid a visit to the National Laser Technology Center of Production-Education-Research and also attended the BJUT Innovation and Development Theme Exhibition.
