On May 20^th, the 7^th seminar on Capital Advanced Manufacturing Technology was held successfully in BJUT. This seminar aimed to implement the national development strategy, take advantage of capital technology, follow the development of Internet +, fasten the quality upgrade of “Made in China”, promote the university-industry cooperation and build a manufacturing industry with international competitiveness.

During the seminar, Mr. Li Chunru (senior engineer of Beijing municipal science and technology information institute), Mr. Hu Yifan (CEO of Huanyu Venture (Beijing) technology co., LTD) and Mr. Han Bin (Manager of Han’s Laser technology industry group co., LTD) made keynote speeches centered on “Industry 4.0 and Made in China”, “Application and Development of Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) technology in Industrial Enterprises” and “Application of the advanced technology of high power laser intelligent manufacturing” respectively. Prof. Chen Shujun from the College of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Electronics Technology of BJUT made a special report on the core technology of variable polarity plasma arc perforated vertical welding of spacecraft hull structure and its application. After the seminar, all attendees visited the Digital Medical 3D Printing Engineering and Technology Research Center.

This seminar was co-hosted by Beijing Optical Society and BJUT Association of Science and Technology. Nearly 110 people attended the seminar, including Guo Shaoling, Vice Chairman of Beijing Optical Society and Director of Committee of Experts, and Liu Yongzhen, Vice Director of Committee of Experts, and other experts, scholars and students from relevant areas.
