In the afternoon of October 16, President Joel Bloom and Vice President Charles Dees of New Jersey Institute of Technology, as well as famous alumni Wu Ying and three representatives visited BUJT. They signed a memorandum on the two-university cooperation. President Liu Gonghui met these foreign guests on behalf of the university. The Vice President accompanied the delegation and chaired the meeting.

President LiuGonghui extended his warm welcome toward visiting guests’ and specifically introduced activities of scientific research and transformation of scientific achievements. Then he hoped that for the two universities, a new era of cooperation can be built on the basis of 30-year-cooperation.

President Charles Dees showed his appreciation for warm reception in BJUT. He introduced subject setting and academic research in New Jersey Institute of Technology. Moreover, based on existing cooperation of two universities, he hoped to deepen study and strengthen cooperation in computer professional field.

After the meeting, President Liu Gonghui and Joel Bloom signed the memorandum of cooperation on behalf of their university. Finally alumni Wu Ying was given the graduation album.
