In the morning of October 22, the delegation of Hongkong Polytechnic University visited BJUT. President Liu Gonghui met Dean, Faculty of Construction &Environment Xu Youlin and Vice Dean, Shen Qiping. Vice President Wu Bing, personnel of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office and Principal of College of Architecture & Civi Engineering accompanied to meet.

President Liu warmly welcomed these two deans to visit BJUT and attend international symposium on “How to Nature Talents of innovation and Entrepreneurship under globalization”. Meanwhile, he appreciated their wonderful performance when they hosted the seminar and gave their speech, then he looked back the history of exchange between two universities and gave affirmation to cooperation achievement of scientific research group in 6 fields, including management of urban air pollution. He proposed that BJUT and PolyU can partner a coalition with National Taipei University of Technology to study the common urban problem in the three areas.

Dean Xu Youlin showed his appreciation for a warm reception in BJUT. Then he introduced the development of 6 scientific research groups between two universities and suggested to finding new cooperative program in subway stations and new construction of airport in Beijing.
