Professor Yu from College of Environmental and Energy Engineering Made a Breakthrough in the Environmental Chemistry Research

Professor Yu Shuyan, the winner of “Expert Recruitment Program” of Beijing Municipal Education Council, and his doctoral student Jiang Xuanfeng had made a breakthrough in the research of hydrolytic cleavage of both CS2 carbon–sulfurbonds by multinuclear Pd(II) complexes at room temperature.

The academic paper reporting the findings of their research was published in Nature Chemistry, on 24 October, 2016. This marks the publishing debut of a BJUT professor in Nature Chemistry, a subsidiary of Nature magazine. It ranks second on the list of academic chemistry magazines, superseded only by Nature itself.
