Recently, the Beijing’s Modern Manufacturing Industry Development and Research Base, supported by BJUT has been selected to the Chinese Think Tank Index (CTTI), listing as one of the first batch of around 500 Chinese Think Tank sources from 2016 to 2018.
CTTI, a think tank data management and evaluation system, is designed to provide a powerful data management platform to realize the online collection, classification, storage, analysis and utilization of all kinds of data and also support the evaluation and assessment of Chinese think tanks. In addition, the CTTI also sets up an online exchange platform, as a new channel of communication, data exchange and information sharing for think tanks.
Since its inception in 2004, the Beijing’s Modern Manufacturing Industry Development and Research Base with the support of BJUT has carried out a variety of research and provided a strong support for administration’s decision-making as well as many constructive plans for Beijing’s economic sustainable development. The base has been committed to becoming a leading domestic research institution, focusing on the development strategies, construction planning, structural optimization of Beijing’s modern manufacturing industry and its coordinated development of advanced technology. Meanwhile, the base has been striving to be an information center with important data, a research base attracting and assembling experts and technicians home and abroad, an education center for the high-level inter-disciplinary talents in modern manufacturing research and an advanced think tank for the administration, companies and enterprises.
It is reported that BJUT will be invited to involve the data collection from 2015 to 2016 for Chinese Think Tank Index.
