University Delegation of Conservatoire National Des Arts et Métiers Visits BJUT

On November 18, the university delegation of Conservatoire National Des Arts et Métiers (Le CNAM) visited BJUT. The members of the delegation included President Olivier Faron; Michel Terré, Dean of the College of Engineering; Sébastien Leoncel, Director of Foreign Affairs; Zhang Mingjun, Director of China Affairs. President Liu Gonghui and Vice President Wu Bin met with the delegation. Related personnel of International Office and faculty of Information Technology attended.

President Liu Gonghui extended his warm welcome toward the visiting delegation and reflected on the 10-year history of frequent cooperation and exchange visits between BJUT and Le CNAM. He proposed that in order to cooperate in personnel training, those who work on scientific research, teaching affairs and administrative management can serve temporary positions during their visiting fellowships as to deepen the cooperation between BJUT and Le CNAM.

President Olivier Faron expressed his congratulations and admirations for BJUT’s recent achievement, speaking of the originality of President Liu’s proposal. Moreover, he hoped to establish joint laboratory to improve scientific research internationally and strengthen cooperation in innovation as well as teaching administration.

Vice President Wu Bin proposed future cooperation in terms of jointly-built MOOC platform, innovation & entrepreneurship incubator, train doctoral students and exchange visiting scholars.
