On December 10, the list of the sixth batch of scientific research base was released by State Administration of Cultural Heritage on national conference of science and technology of cultural relics. BUJT’s Scientific Research Base for Wooden Building Security Evaluation and Risk Management has been approved.
In June 2016, submission for the six batch of scientific research base was guided by State Administration of Cultural Heritage. Disaster Prevention Team and Architecture Protection Team from College of Architecture& Urban Planning had carefully prepared and actively applied. Finally, BJUT stood out from 30 great institutions after a series of assessment process like preliminary examination, expert discussion and result announcement.
Compatible with Beijing engineering technology research center for historic building protection, this scientific research base will innovatively work on disaster prevention for state cultural relics.
