From 8th to 12th in January, 96th annual symposium of Transportation Research Board was held in Washington, D.C. Representatives from College of Metropolitan Transportation attended the symposium, where BJUT TRB 2017 Forum was successfully held. Concerning high-end talent recruitment and international talent training, international academy and Alumni development, the forum consisted of College Publicity Meeting, International Academic Seminar and Overseas Alumni Exchange.
At College Publicity Meeting, Chen Yanyan, Dean of College of Metropolitan Transportation, gave a brief introduction to the college, emphasizing the policy of high-end talent introduction and plan of recruitment in 2017.
At International Academic Seminar, hot topics like scientific transportation innovation, freight development were in discussion.
At Overseas Alumni Exchange of Transportation, Wang Jun, Director of Overseas Alumni Organization, gave a report about development of those overseas alumni.
Scholars from more than 100 countries gathered at TRB annual symposium. Moreover, by holding this forum, College of Metropolitan Transportation enhanced communication with experts at home and abroad, expanded college influence and promoted overseas talent recruitment.
