Biomedical Engineering and Electricity Laboratory of BJUT has experienced success after receiving approval from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. In cooperation with Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Anglia Ruskin University and Beijing Yes Medical Devices Co, the research proposal of BJUT received seed funding under the Gates Foundation in 2015. As for Zhang Song and Hao Dongmei’s team from College of Life Science & Bio-engineering, the achievement was no accident. Rather, it is a result of persistence in scientific research, concentration on market needs, international outreach, and talent cultivation. Underlying the achievements are ambitious exploration for innovation & entrepreneurship and successful practice for community service. Having been faced with great challenges, they got exciting results finally.
Slight pulse wave allows great progress on Biomedical Engineering and Electricity Laboratory. Until now, this lab has already published more than 320 pieces of academic paper and a book, taking possession of 20 software copyrights and 30 patent licensing.
