BJUT’s Doctoral Dissertation Chosen for the 1st Session of Great National Optics Doctoral Dissertation

Recently, the result of 1st Session of Great National Optics Doctoral Dissertation has been released. BJUT’s doctoral student Liu Jiang’s dissertation “High-Power Narrow Bandwith Continuous Wave Thulium-Doped All-Fiber” has been chosen for the 1st Session of Great National Optics Doctoral Dissertation under the guidance of his supervisor Prof. Wang Pu.

Selection of Great National Optics Doctoral Dissertation is organized and implemented by The Chinese Optical Society, aiming at selecting excellent doctoral dissertation of all optics, laser technology and related majors, whose purpose is to nurture innovation of high-end talents and contribute to the development of optics and laser technology. The Great National Optics Doctoral Dissertation is selected once a year, with no more than 5 award-winning dissertations and no more than 5 nominated great ones.

The 1st Session of Great National Optics Doctoral Dissertation was recommended by members and experts in institutions with optics and laser technology as well as relative PhD majors and the Chinese Optical Society.
