On March 1, the Off-campus Talent Training Base of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning of higher institutions of Beijing Municipality was formally unveiled. This talent construction program is taken charge by BJUT and supported by Dajin (China) Investment Ltd. With 10-year collaboration, they have explored a kind of cooperation mechanism called “production-learning-research ” on the basis of practical learning, fully taking advantage of their information, resource, technology, talent and practice, as well as establishing the deep-level cooperation platform for tackling research subjects, training talents and transferring research findings.
At the unveiling ceremony, BJUT and the Investment Ltd. held discussion about means to encourage innovative spirit, practical abilities, social responsibility, employability and the way to combine talent base construction and practical learning for talent cultivation.
The talent base was approved as a municipal talent training center off campus. At present, in addition to majors of Energy & Power Engineering and the Internet of Things Engineering who participate in practical activities, some other universities in Beijing also take advantage of the base for practical learning.
