Beijing University of Technology won a total of 5 awards at the 2016 Beijing Science and Technology Award Conference. Of the 180 awards for innovative achievements, BJUT achieved 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, and 2 third prizes, wherein the total number for each prize is 27, 60 and 93 respectively.

The 2016 conference put strong emphasis on basic research, giving impetus for industrial progress. Many achievements are the results of close industry-university-research cooperation. All the above prizes reinforce Beijing’s position as an international city with a wide variety of advanced talents and a strong innovative foundation.
