On June 11th, BJUT officially launched the third partnership program between Beijing and Hong Kong youths. This year a total of 154 young people from 8 universities in Hong Kong participated. 55 students of BJUT will accompany them in a number of practical and communication activities.
In the opening ceremony, the leader of the Youth League Committee briefly introduced BJUT’s history and expressed good wishes for the friendly relationship between Beijing and Hong Kong partners.
After the ceremony, the student delegates of BJUT and youths of Hong Kong visited the campus and the museum of Micro Motors before taking part in ball games, workplace experience and other exchange activities.
Adhering to the goal of expanding the depth and breadth of communication between Beijing and Hong Kong youth, the program’s activities will take place during a period of one and a half months. These young people will hold a series of social activities, focusing on experiencing the capital, learning history and culture and fulfilling the spirit of volunteerism. The program aims to not only help young people from Hong Kong learn more about Beijing and BJUT but also promote the interaction and communication between youths in Beijing and Hong Kong so as to build a bridge of friendship.
