On October 19th, Svitlana Sivitska, vice president of Poltava National Technical Yuriy Kondratyuk , visited Beijing University of Technology together with another people, and the vice president Wu Bin met with the delegation on behalf of the school, accompanied by the relevant person in charge of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office.
The vice president Wu Bin extended a warm welcome to the vice president Svitlana Sivitska. He reviewed the exchange history of the two universities, introduced the basic situation of the school, the construction of “World-class Universities and World-class Disciplines”, the construction of Sino-Polish University Consortium under the “Belt and Road” Initiative and Art Design Competition, etc. He suggested that the two universities should promote exchanges of students and scientific research cooperation of teachers, strengthen the deep exchange of civil engineering and art design discipline, jointly organize art design competition, etc. based on the common preponderant disciplines, and carry out cooperation of the architecture discipline of Beijing University of Technology and the international academic journals sponsored by the school to further broaden the depth and breadth of cooperation.
The vice president Sivitska expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of Beijing University of Technology and briefly introduced the preponderant disciplines, school-running characteristics and scientific research cooperation of Poltava National Technical Yuriy Kondratyuk. She said that Poltava National Technical Yuriy Kondratyuk is willing to conduct in-depth exchanges with Beijing University of Technology in student exchanges, teacher visits and scientific research cooperation, and hopes to strengthen cooperation between the two universities in art design competition, innovation and entrepreneurship projects of students and contribution of academic journals.
Founded in 1818 and with a history of nearly two hundred years, Poltava National Technical Yuriy Kondratyuk has School of Architecture, School of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Humanities, School of Information and Communication Technology Systematics, School of Electronic Engineering, School of Oil and Gas, Natural Resource Management. Based on the outstanding contribution of the school to the economic and educational development of Ukraine, it became a national university in 2002 and was further recognized by the international community. The school currently has more than 10,000 students from 23 regions of Ukraine and 11 countries around the world.
