On the afternoon of October 25th, the delegation of the president Frédéric Meunier of Engineering School of Information and Digital Technologies (EFREI) visited Beijing University of Technology, andthe vice president Wu Bin met with the delegation on behalf of the school, accompanied bythe relevant persons in charge of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, and the Department of Informatics.
The vice president Wu Binextended a warm welcome to the delegation of the president Frédéric Meunieron behalf of the school. He said that the two universities have cooperated for 14 years since 2004, and there are more than 100 students from Beijing University of Technology participating in the cooperative project of the two universities. Engineering School of Information and Digital Technologies (Efrei) has a long history and rich experience in the field of engineer education, and enjoys a high reputation in the training of professional personnel in engineering technology. 7 majors of Beijing University of Technology were selected the “Excellent Engineer Education Program” of the Ministry of Education of China. He hopes that under the program, the two universities will carry out multi-level and different types of cooperation around the training of professional engineer personnel with international view.
The president Frédéric Meunier expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of Beijing University of Technology. He briefly reviewed the history of cooperation between the two sides for more than ten years. He hopes that this meeting can further deepen and expand the multi-level talent training and extensive exchanges between the two universities, and teacher exchanges and exchange visits can be conductedon the basis of student training and cooperation to enrich the connotation of cooperation.

Engineering School of Information and Digital Technologies (Efrei) was founded in 1936. In the past 80 years, it has become one of the symbolicschools for the training of information and electronics engineers. Since 1957, Efrei has been a member of Conference des Grandes Ecoles (CGE) and has been approved by the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur, the only official certification body in France, for awarding an engineer degree. More than 7,300 engineers of Efrei after graduation are in France and around the world, and Efrei has always come out top in the HR departments and recruitment agencies of large companies.
