BJUT Ranks No.32 in QS Mainland China University Rankings 2020

On June 19th, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) officially released the 16th World University Rankings. QS ranked more than 1,000 universities in different countries and regions around the world. There are 66 Chinese universities in the list, including 42 universities in the mainland, 7 universities in Hong Kong, 1 university in Macau, and 16 universities in Taiwan. In addition to universities in the “World-Class University Plan”, a number of “First-Class Discipline” universities also have good standings on the list, such as Shanghai University, Beijing University of Science and Technology, East China University of Science and Technology, Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing University of Technology, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Shanghai International Studies University, and Wuhan University of Technology.

Beijing University of Technology ranks No.32 in the QS Mainland China University Rankings 2020, up one place compared to 2019, and No. 701-750 in the QS World University Rankings 2020, up one band compared to 2019.

The same as previous years, the six indicators used to compile the QS World University Rankings 2020 are as follows: Academic reputation (40%), Employer reputation (10%), Faculty/student ratio (20%), Citations per faculty (20%), International faculty ratio (5%), and International student ratio (5%).
