On November 18th, BJUT held a symposium themed “Face to face with Our President” with BJUT’s 2020 undergraduate student representatives. Liu Gonghui, Deputy Secretary of BJUT CPC Committee and President of the University, Wu Bin, Vice President of BJUT, student representatives and heads of relevant functional departments of BJUT attended the symposium.

At the symposium, the 2020 undergraduate freshmen representatives from different regions, different majors, and different types of enrollment shared about their initial impressions of BJUT, their motivations of choosing BJUT, their feelings about studying and living in BJUT, and their visions for the future. They shared their happiness and pride for studying at BJUT, and hope to continuously improve their professional knowledge and comprehensive ability to become the pillars of China as soon as possible.

Some 2019 undergraduate student representatives also participated in the symposium. They said that the study and life at BJUT for more than a year has helped them become a better selves , and they also shared pertinent opinions and suggestions on curriculum arrangements, club activities, campus food, accommodation, informatization service, campus security, etc.

President Liu Gonghui listened carefully to each student's speech, and solicited their opinions and suggestions from the aspects of teacher's teaching quality, online teaching effect, and canteen food supply. He said that the college days is the best time to study and students should cherish college life, always attach utmost importance to study, and learn how to behave while learning professional knowledge.
