BJUT Ski Team Won the Overall Team Championship of the 7th Vanke China University Student Ski Challenge (North China Division)

The 7th Vanke China University Student Ski Challenge (North China Division) was held from December 21 to 22, 2020. Students from Peking University, Renmin University of China, BJUT, Nankai University, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Capital Institute of Physical Education and other universities participated in this competition. BJUT Ski Team won the Overall Team Championship, the Skiing Team Championship and the Snowboarding Team Runner-up.

In individual competitions, the BJUT Ski Team also achieved a number of prizes. Hu Zhenbing (a freshman from the Faculty of Architecture, Civil and Transportation Engineering) won the first place in the Ladies' Giant Slalom, and Lv Feinong (a junior student from the Beijing-Dublin International College) won the third place in the Ladies' Giant Slalom; and Guo Yue (from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences) won the third place in the Ladies' Snowboarding Giant Slalom.

BJUT supports the development of the ice and snow sports of Winter Olympics, and provides guarantees for its Ski Team in terms of venues, equipment, and training. During the non-snow season, BJUT Ski Team adheres to regular physical training and focuses on improving physical fitness, laying a solid physical foundation for training and competition in the snow season. BJUT Ski Team will go to Jilin Songhua Lake Ski Resort from March 1 to 4 2021, to participate in the 7th Chinese University Ski Challenge and the 30th Winter Universiade Trials (Finals).
