· Two International Students from BJUT Won the Chinese Government Scholarship for Outstanding International Students in China

The Ministry of Education announced the list of the 2020 Chinese Government Scholarship for Outstanding International Students in China. Kausar Shaheen (Pakistan), a 2017 PhD student majored in Materials Science and Engineering from the Faculty of Materials and Manufacturing of BJUT, and Azhar Imran Mudassir (Pakistan), a 2017 PhD student majored in Software Engineering from the Faculty of Information Technology of BJUT received this honor.

The Chinese Government Scholarship for Outstanding International Students in China is established by the Ministry of Education to expand the coverage and influence of the Chinese Government Scholarship and cultivate more international talents who know China, are friendly to China, and love China. This award, regarded as one of the highest honors awarded by the Chinese government to international students in China, is selected once a year with strict assessment requirements and limited places. Since BJUT recommended outstanding international students to China to participate in the competition for open places in 2015, a total of 12 BJUT international students have won this award for 6 consecutive years.
